The first day of the season was a great success! Not only were we lucky enough to find the J16s (pictured is J26 Mike) we also got to see Mountain Goats on Saturna Island! It was so great to see the new babies and their family! J26 Mike even surprised us with an extremely close pass-by despite giving the family an extra 100 yards so as to disturb the young calves as little as possible. Here he is heading back toward the rest of his family after giving out boat a close and thorough look. I'm so excited for the rest of whale watching season!
